Who is eligible?
Residential homeowners in the state of Alabama.
Do I have to be an Alabama Power customer to be eligible for Smart Financing?
No, but you must own the home and the address for the project you are requesting financing for must be in the state of Alabama. If you’re not an Alabama Power customer but the project address is within the state, we will set up an account for your convenience, solely designated for your project. You will receive bills from this
account.
How does it work?
- Customer completes the digital financing application.
- If you qualify, you will be presented with your rate options.
- Sign all loan documents electronically – copies will be emailed to you.
- We will complete the project, and you can relax.
Can I apply with a co-applicant?
Yes, but the primary applicant must be the homeowner.
